AFRIQ A'MOUR..

Here are some pictures that remind us of the beauty, love and warmth of Africa our motherland. I saw these on some African inspired sites and couldn't be any more prouder than I already am.

In all the trials and wars and hunger and drought and poverty and corruption and fear, regardless of our social status, let the faces in the pictures below help us all remember the happiness in our hearts, the joy in our tears, the natural beauty and love from AFRICA.

FOODIE I AM 2: FOOD ART...

Last night, I went visiting some of my basketball player friends.. those guys crack me up whenever I'm around them.. my face always look like the laughing BBM smiley in that house.. (general laughter)

But this time after about two rounds of playing basketball (yes I play..lol.. I'm a tomboy like that), we were all hungry and trust me, when those guys wanna eat, they wanna eat! so went scavenging in the kitchen for something to make.

All we could find was a can of sardines, some red and green bell peppers and some onions and of course, Rice. There was really nothing all that could make actually...

But by golly we whipped up a meal!!

The heart shape was my idea of food art... I didn't want my plate to be boring and I was in an overly happy mood anyways but the guys thought it was cute :)

The point is that we made a meal out of really nothing much. Which shows that you can do too with left overs, you don't really need to break bank to eat something nice..

Cutest thing on two feet...

I love me some shoes!

And when its creatively done, then I am at full attention..

I was talking about the endless possibilities of the beautiful ANKARA fabric and decided to break it down to all that cane be achieved with ANKARA.

I would like to start with these beautiful shoes I saw from surfing the internet and they all got me spellbound and at awe as to how creative and innovative people can be, its just so AMAZING!
